About the Earthquake
On January 12, 2010 a magnitude 7.0 earthquake hit the island nation of Haiti, with an epicenter less than 20 miles of the country’s capital, Port-au-Prince. The devastation in Port-au-Prince, and many areas beyond, has been without precedent.
