You will be our first in house developer, managing an internal and external team to develop new features, optimize for performance, test variable environments and connect through our mobile and social media platforms. We're looking for someone with brilliant ideas who can solve difficult problems and create intuitive solutions that exceed our expectations. We are a small group of young entrepreneurs and we're changing the way people consume on the internet, flipping the model of mass consumption on it's head and focusing on customization and celebrating individual expression. We're also doing pretty well and working with some of the best and most entrepreneurial advisers in the tech world. We are currently built on the Microsoft technology stack. Your responsibilities, include but are not limited to: * 80% + hands on coding -- taking ownership of the build of database driven (but not database heavy) web applications * Architect and develop new features with design team * Optimize existing software for enhanced performance * Spearhead software development * Brainstorm and make recommendations about technology and processes * Present ideas, projects to management * Manage external engineers and hire junior developer(s)  * Create, manage, build and optimize on the Windows Azure Cloud hosting platform Required Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in CS, or equivalent experience. * 3-10 years of .NET/ Microsoft Technologies Experience ( .NET / C # / VISUAL BASIC / ASP.NET )  * 3+ years' experience in web development, including DHTML, HTML, JavaScript, Jquery and CSS * 3+ years proficiency with both client & server-side programming including: ASP, knowledge of HTTP protocol * software development methodologies * source control systems (SVN) * troubleshooting bugs and implementing fixes * working in a fast-paced, demanding environment (preferably at a startup) * MS SQL Server creation and maintenance: tables, stored procedures, views, indexes, triggers * web API design a plus We need you to be an sharp, creative, positive, fun person and a superstar developer!
